In this video, you will learn how to survive a fire tornado.

As a fire grows large, it can quickly get out of control. Brave firefighters do their best to put out these fires. sometimes, large fires will spawn deadly fire tornadoes. These tornadoes are created when hot air rapidly rises in an updraft. Air on all sides is then sucked into the bottom which creates a vortex. The result is a tornado with powerful suction power that is also on fire. Thankfully, these beasts only last for a few minutes at a time. However, there are a few things you need to do if you see one.

First, evacuate the area. You want to avoid the tornado and fire’s path. Don’t stay inside. You should also use a wet rag or shirt to cover your mouth and nose. This will help protect you from the smoke. Further, you want to stay low to the ground because smoke rises. Lastly, make your way to a safe area. A brick building or freshly watered field may also work in a pinch if you are surrounded by the fire. Help should be on the way soon.
