If you are a full-time camper, there is a special full-time policy you will need. This full-time policy includes medical payments, extra liability, and content coverage which covers items inside the camper like flatscreen TVs or personal belongings.
If you are a weekend camper and need coverage, often you can add onto your auto coverage. If you do this, it does not include content coverage most of the time.
If you have an older camper, you’ll need an agreed-upon value with the insurance company. This means if an accident happens or the camper is totaled, you’ll get the best value for it. Getting an agreed-upon value could include pictures, model numbers, or maybe even an appraisal.
