When it comes to latches, or clamps, or even latch clamps, there is only one place to go. You can trust in Destaco to get the right product for the right job. Their variety and availability of all things hardware and machinery never cease to amaze.

Of all of the Destaco clamps out there, you can trust the ones using Destaco latches. And of those Destaco latch clamps, you have dozens of options, so there is something to fit every job. There are three types of the Destaco latch clamps that the varieties can be broken into.

1. Standard Latch Pull Clamps

There are several clamps that fit this category. They work great for molding applications, but their versatility does not stop there. The little 301 model has a 375 pound weight capacity, with a drawing movement of just under four inches. And its handle guide is even built right into the base.

The 3011 model is much heavier duty. It is available in either carbon or stainless steel, and can hold up to 2,000 pounds. With an even smaller drawing movement than its kin, the 301, it only requires 2.83 inches.

Lastly, a convenient in-between model is the 311. It has the built in handle guide, like its little brother, but can hold over three times the weight at 1,200 pounds. And its draw movement is smaller than the 301 as well, at only 3.34 inches.

2. Pull Action Clamps

You can choose from varieties like the Standard Pull Action, the Standard Horizontal U Hook, Standard J Hook, or Standard Vertical U Hook clamps. The J Hook is an overall universal standard that is useful for a variety of applications. The Vertical U is handy at times because it can mount perpendicular to a surface, if your standard horizontal latch will not do. Yet with the Horizontal U, you can use it for latching molds, doors, lids, drums, access covers and a variety of other vessels. Pull actions are your standard clamp when you just need something latched.

3. Controlled Latch Clamps

This is a relatively new style to Destaco. It offers a new degree of safety and utility than what is found in existing toggle clamps. The controlled hook motion is an innovation that allows for swift and safe, one-handed operation of the clamp. It has an integrated lock-out hole for a pin or lock to keep it secure, and the over center condition of the clamp is not affected at all by the elevation of its latch point.

When you need a latch or clamp, Destaco clearly has you covered. The next time you need a replacement or just find yourself in need of a new clamp altogether, look to Destaco or a Destaco distributor. All of your needs will be met, and you will be wholly satisfied with the product and the company.
